I live in the far northwest of Montana, it’s not a matter of if, it’s a matter of when you will encounter a wildlife strike on the highways. This is why I always run bull bar bumpers on every truck I have owned. The price was a value, the shipping was fast, the packing/palletizing was crazy good and after 45 minutes of careful cutting to remove the shipping wrapping protections there was not a scratch on the bumper anywhere. Finally after finding the proper installation manual, downloading it and reading it a couple of times, the winch and bumper went on easily. The Triple Hoop Apex Bumper with 12,000lb Ironman Winch was a perfect fit. The instructions show 3 gentlemen and 6 hours to install. I have a heated 20x40 shop that is tooled up, I am 73 years old and my helper is 23 years old and he did most of the work it took us 4 hours and 50 minutes from start to finish. This bumper is a Beast, I am truly impressed with the look, the quality, the fitment and the ease of installation. I called to see if Ironman had this offering for my 2024 4x4 Suburban Premiere and was disappointed they don’t have an offering for my Suburban.

I’m very happy with the look and fit of this bumper. I was also impressed as to how this thing was packaged. They do a great job of ensuring it survives the freight company. I installed it on my 2024 Limited. There were a few slight flaws in the materials, specifically where the top hoop on the right side is welded to the bumper shell. It looks like it was grinded too deep, then just powder coated over. I’m also concerned about how the center gravel guard is attached with butterfly nuts. I don’t think those will last more than a few oil changes. My biggest negative is the install instructions, or lack there of. The video isn’t great. Example, it walks you through installing the winch tray, to include final tightening of a ton of heavy bolts……. then tells you to install the side gravel guard brackets, which requires removing two bolts that you just tightened with a crush sleeve. I’m a mechanic and it took me two 8 hour days to install this by myself. I borrowed an engine puller/cherry picker to hoist the bumper shell into place. Time will tell as far as durability.

I love the quality and fitment of the bumper. a few reasons that it is not 5 starts. the bumper was wrapped up tightly but there was still some damage to my product. paint on the front and a bent bracket. I also think that the bumper should be advertised as not for a 3. 0 engine without modification. I put it on a 3. 0 diesel truck. it fits but i had to custom make a couple brackets and resecure the shutter grille for the intercooler to make it fit. i think i can even fit the winch in there. i will find that out later on. I was afraid that it would be too big and make the truck look weird but it actually looks as good as the pictures. i want to upload pictures for others because i cant find any pictures of it on the internet.

The bumper is exactly what I was looking for, Looks good on the F150 Tremor. Video and instructions were not accurate when it cam to the F150. Took several times to align the bumper correctly to allow for the drilling of the pin bolts. Had to modify the center skid plate due to the roll near the tow hooks would not allow clearance to properly mount the plate to the bumper.

I would love to tell you everything went smoothly, but it does go on a Tacoma and Toyota makes a big deal out of making it difficult on owners of the SR and SR5 but I made it work on my SR xtra Cab 4x4. The bumper looks great and is exactly what I wanted.

Ironman is in a learning period for American vehicles, so my install wasn’t simple, but if you’re a mechanic, you can figure it out, my only issue is with the front pieces are a plastic foam material and the manufacturer over tight the bolts and pulled them through , Ironman says they are return x amount off the bumper, but we’ll see. So I had to buy bigger longer bolts to go through all the way to help keep it in place. And I had to cut my color matched fender flares for the bumper to fit , it’s not designed for flares.

Just experienced a fender bender, the front rubber part was slightly damaged and there is NO replacement for it. Called customer service and they said I have to buy an entire new bumper! Wow!!! Never again!!!

The bumper is fantastic. If only I could mount it. You see instead of just printing out the fitting instructions for the customer that paid you a 50% profit for a bumper I get a path to a website that has nothing, NOTHING for instructions. I would grade less but at least I have the bumper and some parts. If only there was a website coordinator that was not out enjoying a 2 month holiday while the work piles up. Not to mention a president of the company that sends me pretty letters for my purchase but gives me no response. Management should have a checklist.

The bumper Install went well. Some parts of the Video installation were difficult to follow, sure would like a paper instruction with pictures and instructions as well. Other than that, I'm very satisfied with the fit of the bumper. Only other issues are the from sensors sticking to the bumper as the adhesive does not seem to stick to the sensor mount brackets, I had to use another sealant to keep the sensors in place otherwise I'm satisfied with the overall looks and construction of the bumper.

Quality of the build seems to be top notch. I had a shop install it. My only disappointment was the very low quality on/off switches for the lights. They are horribly cheap!

The bumper is Great but is complicated to install. I took mine to a 4x4 shop and they took more than two days to install it. They said they had installed lots of bumpers, but this was the first time with this bumper. They had to learn how to do it and it took much longer than they had planned. They even said the winch wouldn't fit, which I know it would, and modified my grill and trim. It looks good but it is a tight fit. If you are going to do it yourself, watch the videos and read the instructions over a few times before you start. Give yourself a full weekend at least. If you are going to take it to a shop to have it installed, make sure it's one that has done them before. I love mine but I would not use the shop that installed it again.

The bumper is pretty much what I expected, the problem is the instructions/instructional video. There is no guide for the most part to tell you what sets of hardware go where, sometimes the video would mention it but some times there was no mention. I installed the bumper myself in a drive way and it was extremely difficult (as expected. ) The fit and finish are very good and I love the finished product. The only actual problems I have had is with the parking sensor brackets not wanting to stick to the 3M double sided tape provided.
