"Purchased this winch for my Pathy build and mounted it to my ARB bumper. Extremely high quality winch especially for the price, fairly easy install into the bumper but make sure you buy the fairlead adapter from ARB if you run this winch in your bumper, it'll make it fit and function very well. Once installed make sure you pay attention to wiring, there seems to be misleading reviews out on reddit about this winch that speak of spontaneous wire melt down and fires nearly started. If you follow the instructions on wiring, protect, sleeve, and correctly route everything, you will be REWARDED with a kicka** winch. make SURE you have a battery with at a minimum 650CCA's otherwise you might end up like the guy on reddit. For Pathy/Xterras/Frontiers in the R51/D40 era I recommend the 94r, 750CCA's, beast of a battery, readily available and fits perfectly into the existing battery mount with a plastic tray modification. We used this on our way back to Colorado, winching vehicles out of 3 ft sand in MOAB. They were basic 4x4's used as trail vehicles for "The Speed Project" foot race. It worked very well, loved the wireless remote function along with the winch extension, a must have."
