Overview

There is nothing worse than crawling on your tailgate to see what’s in the fridge, or blindly moving your hand around until you can find what you are looking for. The new Ironman 4×4 Tilting Fridge Slide takes away the pain, with a simple and durable slide sized to your fridge.

Simple to use, the Tilting Fridge Slide has a single-lever lock-in and out feature keeping your fridge in place whilst in transit. The gas struts assist when lifting the slide tray reducing the load when the fridge is full.

A very solidly built product

A very solidly built product as always from Ironman4x4. Slides very smoothly and at a perfect angle for the height of my deck down to my tailgate. I literally just installed it so giving it 4 stars because there were no installation instructions. Not the most difficult to figure out using a simple diagram of the product components but if you've never even seen a slider before let alone installed one it can be tricky. I'm looking forward to many years of use from it and I'm sure it will hold up well, time will time though!

Solid Build! Good tilting fridge slide

Favorite part, the gas struts, it helps to gently lower the fridge BUT the slide then wants to to return to its normal horizontal position when the fridge is almost empty. I would then have to hold it down in place w/ one hand, open the lid and grab what I need w/ my other hand. I wish there was a way to lock it into place under circumstances where the fridge is almost empty. I will just fab some sort of anchor to prevent it from going back to its horizontal position. I also like the fact that the slide's locking mechanism is in a spot where it won't snag on anything and getting bent. My old slide's locking lever would drop below the floor of the slide and get caught on the tailgate if I wasn't paying attention in the dark - I bent it. This slide also goes in and out smoothly and locks into place w/ minimal effort. On my last slide, I had to remove some plastic bumpers so that its slide would slide back and lock into its resting place.

All in all, I am very happy w/ the product. Solid build. Love the gas struts. The price is reasonable as well. It does take a bit more surface area because of the struts but w/ it sitting on top of my Decked - beats the heck out of grabbing a stool just to get food out of my fridge.

I would recommend this product to others.

This tilting slide is made for 30L to 50L fridges, but we can't confirm fit for the Dometic CFX5 35. The tray measures 29.5" x 16.9", so you can check that against your fridge's footprint.

Can you tell me the measurement from the bottom of the mount to the top of the tray the fridge actually sits on? I'm working with tight tolerances and need this to calculate fitment. Thank you!

Closed, the tilting slide measures 31.3" x 22.7" x 2.4" overall, and the tray it carries is 29.5" x 16.9" x 1.3". We don't break out a separate measurement from the base of the mount to the top of the tray.
