Overview
Orion 1400 is the perfect choice; simple, robust, and fast.
Blackout Fabric: Sleep longer with blackout-coated 320gsm Ripstop Nylon, for temperature and light control.
Windows With Awnings: There's plenty of ventilation with 3 windows/doors to help reduce condensation and awnings to help further protect from the elements.
High-Density Foam Mattess: The included high-density foam mattress with a 3D anti-condensation mat provides support and comfort for a long night's sleep.
Heater Hose Inlet: Camping in cold weather? Our tent features a heater hose inlet for an external heat source such as a diesel heater.
Built-In Power: Includes a dual USB outlet and a 12V cigarette outlet. Power is connected through a 50A Anderson plug.
Simple Set-Up & Pack-Down: Simple set-up with two latches at the base of the tent, pop them open, and push up with assisted gas struts. Included awnings poles give you the option to set up additional protection or roll away if not needed. Pack-down is as simple as closing the lid and latches, there's plenty of room to leave sleeping bags and pillows inside.
Carry Gear On Your Roof: Carry up to 110 lbs in transit on the roof of your Orion 1400 rooftop tent. Roof plates and side tracks make it easy to mount a wide range of accessories, like solar panels and bikes. When the Orion is open, keep up to 65 lbs of gear on the roof.

Excellent tent. Wanted some thing that wasn’t super light for durability and had numerous entries. This checks the boxes.

Positives are very fast setup, no light gets through, rack for solar.
Negatives are the latches sometimes open, the rubber seal relies on pressure instead of adding an inside lip all around, very heavy, bad insulation/air circulation as it condenses big time on the inside.

First off, the packaging blew me away, much better packed that competitions rtts! The rain fly is nice, will be cool to tuck it away during warm camping. So many pockets and a nice light inside. Better construction than other brand counterparts, curious how it will hold up to continuous use come summer! Free awning made it exceptionally worthwhile!

This is a great tent! love the new materials, new rain fly design that allows you to use it, or not. Comfortable to sleep in. Should have plenty of room for bedding inside. Hinges are crazy nice, roof racks are nice. Really Great Value

What are the sleeping area dimensions?
The Orion 1400 sleeps 2 adults, with a 2" high-density foam mattress over a 0.4" 3D anti-condensation mat. Set up, the tent measures 90.5" x 55.1" x 64.2" overall. We don't publish a separate sleeping area measurement.

Does the Orion tent compatible with the 2024 Subaru Crosstrek?
The Orion 1400 mounts to the crossbars or roof rack already on your vehicle rather than to the vehicle itself, and all mounting hardware is included, so whether it suits your 2024 Crosstrek comes down to your bars. The tent weighs 202 lbs, so check that against your rack's dynamic weight rating, which is what the bars are approved to carry while the vehicle is moving, and against the roof load limit for the vehicle. Our mounting is fairly universal, but we haven't tested every rack on the market, so double-check your bars before you order.

The Orion 1400 comes with its own front and side entry awnings, and the included awning poles let you set them up for extra protection or roll them away when you don't need them.
