The Ironman 4×4 IceCube 40L drawer fridge keeps your food fresh and your drinks ice-cold. With its robust powder coated steel exterior and stainless steel drawer, this fridge combines durability with sleek design.
Without compromising space, this compact unit mounts in the rear of your vehicle, without the need for a fridge slide.
Additionally, it features an internal LED light as well as a basket and divider, making it effortless to locate items in low-light conditions.

The drawer fridge offers space-saving functionality and runs quietly. Customers said it "works every time" but noted concerns about the very short power cable, high power draw (65W), and temperature fluctuation. Some experienced quality issues including plug connection problems and error codes. The price point is high, and AC adapter sold separately.
Very expensive item. In the web description indicates that power sources are 110Vac or 12Vdc, but only DC outlet is included. I had to purchased a DC Converter.

I have had the drawer fridge for almost 2 years now. Works every time and runs quiet.
The fridge works pretty well, there are a few issues with it. 1) the power cord is very very short. I ended up making my own cord that has been working very well and ran that to a switch. 2) power draw is pretty high on this fridge. I have a dual battery setup and the power protection at its lowest setting of 10. 6v and i still get the warning of low power when i start my vehicle the next day after it runs all night. there is a noticeable drop in voltage even while the car is running. 3) heats up quickly and struggles to stay cool in hot weather. I am probably going to cover it in heat reflective material to see if that helps.
I received the first fridge and it was damaged (cheap packaging) I received the second, plugged it into my lithium portable battery, came into my garage about an hour later and smelled plastic melting. I pulled the plug out and it was so hot that it burned the palm of my hand. I contacted the company and they said I needed to recreate the issue and send video proof.
I didn't feel comfortable with doing that as I didn't want to destroy my battery. They said they needed proof. So, I plugged it in again and while it got fairly hot, it didn't get as hot as it did the first time. However, my wife said what happens if it starts to get hot when were asleep and causes a fire. After that, I couldn't feel like I could trust the product. So I contacted them. They said we need proof the first one is destroyed beyond function, so I sent them a video drilling through the top of the first one that was damaged- no biggie- then they said you will have to ship the new one back to us. I was like wait, this thing got super hot and I dont trust it anymore. They said, well, you have to prove it is dangerous, which is kind of dumb to put a consumer in that place.
So I said fine, I will ship it back as it came out of Los Angeles and I live in California. NOPE, I had to ship it back all the way to Pennsylvania. So, I had to pay two hundred dollars out of my own pocket. Not only that, I had to take the old damaged one to the dump and pay a $25 dump fee because of the fridge coolant.
Funny part is I said forget it and I bought another Dometic cooler. The first one arrived and the compressor wasnt properly bolted down. I decided to return it too and buy one locally in case there were issues with it as well. Dometic sent me a return authorization the same day and payed their own shipping back. I didnt need to prove to them that it was problematic, they just took it back.
I personally can no longer recommend the Ironman products. This fridge was very, very cheaply made, and the one I had felt like it could be a fire hazard. Buy at your own risk. At a minimum, be aware of the horrible return policy. I get some people are scammers, and If I was, I would have just heated up the plug with a heat gun and then taken a temperature reading to make it look faulty. But they shouldn't have a return process that takes good customers and put them in such a situation.
I've been using this fridge for a month now. Overall I really like it. Especially for the drawer functionality. That is a major pro! Some cons would be a very short power cable. Seems like a bigger power draw than others. About 65 watts while the compressor runs. The temperature also fluctuates a good bit. About 10 degrees before the compressor kicks back on. Overall a great fridge!!
Good fridge. But it keeps throwing error codes here and there. Plug doesn't stay in place and it comes off while driving so I had to use gorilla tape to keep it in place and plugged in. Door may not close smoothly, just a little misaligned. But besides those little inconvenience, all is good. 3 stars for sure.
