Excellent on all counts, big

"Excellent on all counts, big roll but not too heavy, bag it goes in should have side webbing straps but my wife will take care of. Fits perfect on a ARB awning btw, though if I ever need another awning I’d buy an Ironman, it’s just that all ready had an Arb. Ironman builds a impressive product on this awning room 👍👍👍"

Secure, Adaptable and Sturdy

"We love our awning and annex attachment. It has a thick floor that endures my dogs nails, it is tall so it is easy to get around inside, no more hands and knees crawling around. It survived 40 MPH winds. It quickly turns into a screened room or wide open viewing depending on the weather. It does take up sizable room, and takes longer to set up than a dome tent but simply plan for that as the benefit outweigh those to grumblings."

THIS TENT/AWNING COMBO IS THE BEST!!!

"I don’t even know where to begin on this awesome tent. I have been Prima give camping all my life and as an avid outdoorsman (fishing, hunting, camping, rafting, etc. ) I’ve always tried to look for that “one” piece of equipment (or in this case “two”) that satisfied all my outdoor needs. First, my awning. i have the 6’-6” awning and it’s PERFECT for my Explorer. I love how I can take it in or off using the I/M hinges brackets. (but I honestly never take them off). Secondly I LOVE that anywhere I go, I have INSTANT shelter (whether tailgating, camping, or some other outdoor activity. I also love the LED adjustable light bar that comes with it. I can either plug it into my car or utilize a cigarette 12 v adaptor that I can plug into a power pack. Now for the TENT! Again… this is why I/M is the Porsche of outback gear. The material is SOLID! From the canvas lining, to the bathtub floor, to the vestibule mats. Once you figure out the setup (there’s a slight learning curve) it’s a breeze. It’d be better if you had 2 people to set it up…but a single person can still do it. I have MORE than enough room in my tent given that it’s 6’ 6” in length and roughly the same in height. Simple math has it around 275 cubic feet. That’s HUGE for 1-2 people. Suffice to say, it’s very roomy. I also LOVE the three way zippered doors each with their own mat and awning that you could easily expand with tent poles. It’s extremely cozy and holds up against the harshest conditions. I can fit my cot in there and still have a ton of space. If I had one critique, it would be that they didn’t incorporate a center ceiling hook for things like a fan or extra light. I use the LED light bar that came with my awning powered by a battery pack and that’s plenty for me. Additionally, I love that I can secure everything in my rear passenger seat, and simply unzip the access port in my tent, to my back seat and reach in to grab whatever I have stored in the backseat. Genius! Let’s talk safety. I love that you can “lock” your tent (both from the inside and out) by utilizing a simple combination lock that holds together the zipper handle loops. That way you are safe inside your tent at night (if your female, for instance) and when you leave to go hiking, or whatever. You can secure your tent. And finally, I love the fact that with my Ironman awning attachment, the designers thought ahead and made the bottom brackets that detach, feature a concave bottom, which allows you to fully detach your tent and awning from your car (supporting it by two rear tent poles) and just like that…you have a stand alone tent, thus allowing your to drive your SUV/TRUCK without being handcuffed to the tent and vice versa. Here are some pictures of my tent. Since my first name is Todd, one of my camping buddies has affectionately named my tent…the “Toddj -Mahal”. I couldn’t be more pleased! I truly am the envy of my friends! LOL!"

The room is an awesome

"The room is an awesome feature to have have. I didn’t care for the guy lines or stakes that came with the awning. I use some super heavy stakes and lines with cam. You don’t want the awning coming loses at all or risk bending the poles. I’ve got additional supports for the side walls to help in the wind gusts. The room itself is great. I left the floor zipped to the room and rolled it up. Had no problem bagging it. The room is dark inside. It’s all mounted to a RD1 CR-V. When not in use I just pull the whole thing off with 4 blots. Custom rack made out of unistrut. Has rollers to slide the awning up to 6. 5-7ft and lock in place for using the room. I also have a 4 ft Ironman awning as well I can install on the drivers side if I wanted to. Overall great product!!!!"

Easy setup and take down

"Easy setup and take down with two people. 3 walls of screens let in fresh air and starlight! Storage bag is slightly oversized for easy packing. Wish had small center ceiling hook for light."

I've got to say the

"I've got to say the DeltaWing 90 is very well made with quality materials. I just set up on my ARB awning and it fits great. I am 5'2" and 115lb so this thing is a hefty beast for me, but all in all, it was easy to set up solo. The zip-in floor is a benefit as one might want to use the room without it which could lighten up the load a bit. The room is everything I wanted it to be. Downside is the heftiness/bulkiness, but that's just what it is. Breaking it down and rolling to fit in the durable bag was pretty easy. I suggest tying it up after rolling to maintain the tight roll."

To hard to set up

"To hard to set up on my own-- I might as just well use a tent. I really wanted to like this, but it it isnt simple and easy enough to set up quickly. It also takes up more room when stashed in my vehicle then a tent does."

My awning was recently purchased

"My awning was recently purchased just two months ago, this was the first time fully using it with awning room as well. The awning poles got bent from a bit of wind at a beach spot, and one of the awning poles studs snapped right off. Before this I had a random Amazon branded Yescom awning, used multiple times for two and a half years and dealt with wind, never had anything broke. Disappointed in the Ironman quality, feel like I wasted paying that extra money for the brand name."

Purchased the Delta Wing 90

"Purchased the Delta Wing 90 awning and room to enclose our small toy hauler ramp. With a little fabrication we now have another room for our 18' camper. Great Product!"

Q&A

How much does the 6 foot version weigh?
Fred, The Iawningxt in the 2M size is about 25-30lbs Cheers - Ironman4x4
Will there be one made for the 4.5 awning or will the 6.5 work with it?
Alec, Sorry, the room kits do not work for the 1.4M size and we will not be making one for that size. Cheers - Ironman4x4
Will this work with other manufacturer's awning
Engel, We have not tested our products against the other companies out there to be able to give an answer either way. If the products were to work together it would be purely by chance. Most likely is that they will not. Best - Ironman4x4
Does this come with a floor and is the ceiling a net material?
Kevin, The DeltaWing 90° Awning Room does have a floor and the ceiling is fabric, not mesh. Cheers - Ironman4x4
What is the difference between this room for the 8 foot awning and the Awning Room and Net (Part no. IAWNING2.5MROOM)?
Todd, The IAWNROOMXT has beed redesigned with additional pockets, improved guy lines and a darker fabric to help you sleep in. Cheers - Ironman 4x4
