GREAT PRODUCT!! I am however not sure what happened as i was given this as a gift from my wife. Due to me wrecking the original vehicle I did not fully open it till today 1 year later) and i am missing 2 wall panels
Does this 180 deg awning function well with a minivan? I have a Sienna that I am trying to convert.
The DeltaWing 180° mounts to crossbars or a roof rack rather than the body, so it comes down to your Sienna's rack. Check with Toyota what your crossbars can carry, and use the awning bracket made for your rack, which the rack manufacturer supplies. Measure the usable length on the side you want it, since the 180° opens along the full side. We haven't tested every rack on the market, so confirm the bracket suits your setup before you order.
Do I need to purchase the DeltaWing awning and the wall kit attaches to it or do I just buy the awning wall kit and that’s what I get shown in the picture.
The wall kit attaches to a DeltaWing 180° awning, which is sold separately. Choose the wall kit size that matches your awning: 5.6 ft or 6.9 ft.
I just used the deltawing 180 awning + room attachment as a tent for a 3 week trip in Norway. This is the second extended trip I used them for while wild camping. I have hung everything out to dry before packing away. Is there anything else I should do brefore packign the awning and (more importantly) room attachment away? Should I clean them in the clothes wash and then hang dry?
Sounds like a great trip. Drying everything out before packing it away, like you did, is the most important step, since damp fabric left packed is how mildew starts. To clean the awning and room, sponge them down by hand with mild soap and water, rinse, and let them dry fully in the open. Keep solvents, degreasers and harsh household cleaners off the fabric, and clean off any mildew spots as soon as you see them. Keeping sand and grit out of the zippers will keep them running smoothly too.
would the 180 awning wall work with OVS awning?
This wall kit is made to attach to our DeltaWing 180° awnings, in sizes for the 5.6 ft and 6.9 ft models, so we can't recommend it for an OVS awning.
DOES THIS HAVE A FLOOR?
This wall kit gives your DeltaWing 180° walls with windows and a door. It doesn't include a floor, and neither do our other awning wall kits.
