I have a 2000 Land Cruiser and this bumper looks great and was quite easy to install.

LX bumper

Overall I’m very pleased with fit and quality, I had my very knowledgeable nephew help with the install. Thankfully we had a heated barn to work in, had a couple of tight fits getting the bumper in but we did it. Looks great on the truck and the fogs are awesome way better than the factory.

I love the look of

I love the look of it and it is well made. I could not have built it for any less money than what it cost. Not as heavy duty as I had hoped. Concerned about its durability being made out of 11 gauge steel and the winch plate does not allow removing the winch for service without removing the bumper. Also think the wing tips need to be supported better, possibly tied into the frame. The bumper is a bargain for the cost of it.

This is an awesome set up and very sturdy. It is honestly the best upgrade I have done to my Land Cruiser and the fab work is awesome. Looks great, fits great and was an easy install . Shipping was fast and it priced unhurt.

Overall, very happy with the bumper! Fitment could be a little bit better, but my truck is also been wrecked in the past and is not the straightest body out there so that could have some to do with it. I'm also really OCD so it only bothers me and I'm fine with it!:joy: Install was extremely easy! The Hardest part was taking your time make sure you're through bolt is actually in the sleeve and getting the outer skin lined up where you actually want It. takes a little bit of time. Definitely easier to hang the bumper with something rather than people holding it!

Installation and technical help

Not satisfied, at all , my LX470 it's rubbing the grill on the bull bar and I pulled out the bumper and the brakes to the max.
BUBBA the expert they have on the phone to help and ease instalation his anwser was to hog 1/16 off and ill be fine, i try to explain tbat i like to have at least 1/2 inch clearance he said. . if im not happy sent it back . . are you kidding, I love to hire this guy so I can fire him next day. I'm disappointed for the tech supprt and I'm left whit a fe ision I have to make on my own

If you're on the fence, just do it!

After a while of back and forth between ARB and Ironman, I decided on the Ironman because of the Labor Day sale. I ended up getting the blast phase 2's as well and the entire package was very easy to install. Even without the parts being on sale I can recommend them. The shipping was fast, install was easy, and now I've got a place to mount a winch and protect the LX from animal strikes.

The bumper fit great on my customers LX470. It gave it the tough look that he wanted at a fraction of the cost of competitors. I love the 2 piece design. It makes it easy to install by yourself. The fog lights work great, but the wiring instructions aren't the best. Overall a great package deal!

Great install

What an awesome and easy install. The videos produced by Ironman make this install a breeze. The tips and tricks made it far easier than I had imagined. It was easy to even out and get settled on my 24 year old truck. The tip of spray painting the parts that were under the bumper and are now exposed was extremely useful. I was able to adjust the bumper so that it clears the grill of my LX 470, which makes it even better.

The really bad:
I've installed other offroad bumpers, including an ARB bumper on an 80 series. Unlike other bumpers ive bolted on in 1 hour, this bumper's machining is incomplete and requires the drilling of 4 holes through about 1/2 inch of steel in a very hard to reach place to do the final securing of the bumper. As the other 6 bolts are on adjustable tracks. This is rediculous and should have been designed as a bolt together for largely stock rigs, with drilling these holes as an option for modified fitment. As a result, I only got 2 of the 4 drilled out after an hour and a half of drilling (so there goes "installs in 2 hours"). So right now, Im rolling around with only the top securing bolts in. This is insane.

The good:

Bumper and lights look great. Im concerned that without all the securing bolts in place that this guard isnt as rugged as it looks

Once again. . . I'm not making this review from ignorance. Ive installed these types of bumpers on other toyotas, including another landcruiser that was 2 years older. This manufacturer needs to send this out with everything predrilled.

Arrived scratched

My bumper arrived well-packaged, and I signed for it. After removing all of the packing material, I saw bare metal on the push bars where it had rubbed against something. Too hard to return, so touched it up with a Sharpie. Instructions were not detailed enough, and the photos in the instructions were horrible at best. Thank goodness for YouTube videos. Bumper seems well-built for the price.

can these led fog lights be spliced directly into the original yr 2002 100 fog light wiring harness and the original steering column switch ,etc. be used or are other components required since the original equipment is not led ?: wayne, We do not recommend splicing in to an existing car circuit as this will change the load on that circuit and may require re-wiring or replacement of the fuse. If you have any doubts on what is involved we recommend seeking a professional installer to make sure it is done right and the appropriate safety concerns are addressed. Best - Ironman
Will this fit 2001 sequioa?: No it will not as the frame is different to the Land Cruiser
What winches are compatible with this bumper?: All of our winches will work in this bumper. I recommend our 12k winch for the 100 Series Land Cruiser.
