Overview

5° Caster Correction Plates are highly recommended for raised height 4x4`s with 4" to 6" of lift to permanently cure vehicle wander.

Caster plate kit offers correction without arm replacement. While some customers praised it as a "great product" that fixed caster issues, others reported significant fitment problems. Multiple shoppers noted brackets required grinding for clearance, particularly on passenger side, with compatibility issues for LHD vehicles.

The main issue I had was with the driver side bracket. It had to be cut down a lot to clear the factory welds on the diff housing. For the money I'd say I can't bitch too much just would have been nice to know.

Description

I wish I was informed before purchasing that these caster plates corrections were for RHD right hand drive vehicle. . . I had to make a few modifications for the right side . . . the bolt is too long and the sleeve will not fit regardless any modifications. . .

I got zinc plated Chinese / Home Depot quality bolts, NOT grade 8 shown in the picture. Plates do not even nearly resemble the picture. Zinc coated and did not fit the outer passenger side required grinding to clear the welds on the axle. Save your time and $ for SLEE or Dobinson, its $20 more.

If you drive a drive a right hand drive model stay away from this caster plate kit.

Left side/passenger design is wrong for USA models, I had to fabricate my own bolts to use the plates. Highly dissatisfied with the product

Great plates, needs one more set of bolts to work perfectly

Great set of plates. Super beefy and the directions are pretty straight forwards. Cut, bolt, repeat.
Keep a ratchet strap handy To pull the axle back and a buddy to wiggle the wheel one at a time.

One downside, if you have a diff cover or a left hand drive truck(US model) you're going to need two more grade 8. 8 bolts to get the passenger side on. Found some at the local hardware store, cut to size, bolted on in minutes.

I have 2 inch lift. Will this get me to factory spec caster?

No, the caster plates and the Radius Arm Drop Brackets are to correct alignment with 4-6" lifts. For your 2" lift all that is needed are some caster correction bushings for your radius arms, click here to see compatible Bushing Kits.
