Overview

Water in the backcountry is liquid gold, so set up your vehicle with an IRONMAN 4X4 Water Tank.

The IRONMAN 4X4 50L Wheel Arch Water Tank is built tough from food grade, BPA free, UV Stabilized Polyethylene ensures you can enjoy clean, taste free water. This tank fits great behind the seats against the back of cab in a pickup.

All IRONMAN 4X4 water tanks are pressure tested with water at the factory. A small amount of water inside the tank is normal. IRONMAN 4X4 recommends cleaning your water tank before use. Refer to instructions for cleaning procedures.

Nice slim line water tank

We took this on a 4 month road trip and it did great. It fit across the bed of our Gladiator between our bedrack and cab. Good quality product

Good build quality

I like the rake angle of the tank so it fits snugly against the truck bed vertical wall. I question the one hole in the middle for mounting, would rather have two small holes for straps on the sides.

Should come with the vented cap standard. Cap is NEVER in stock to purchase separately so forced to DIY a vent. Used as gravity fed or w/ a 12v pump, tank NEEDS a vent.

A Very Good Water Tank

This is a nice addition to increase our water supply. It looks very sturdy and fits nicely in the crew-cab, and will better fit better when I remove the rear seat and I build a dedicated spot and other storage. I stepped the 5/8" outlet down to 1/2" and hooked up a 12V pump with cord and cigaret plug. It takes just under four minutes to transfer the water to the camper water tank. My only gripe is the fill tube and cap. The cap is constructed to seal on the inside of the fill opening, which looks like someone cleaned up the mold line with their pocketknife. It doesn't seal and leaks terribly when braking or on rough road. I'll get some sheet neoprene and cut a gasket to fit in the cap.

-the cap only turns about a quarter of a turn so it doesn't get water tight.
-there's no air vent
-because it's opaque, there's no way to see water level remaining.

This is a great deal when compared with alternatives. The molding is not super, but is certainly adequate. I have it in my Gladiator, and while it's not a perfect fit (plenty more room for more water, cut outs aren't really near wheel wells), but until someone makes one specifically designed for the gladiator, I doubt you'll find a better deal than this!

Worked for Jeep Gladiator JT

Packaging:
Box arrived undamaged and the contained some paper filler. I kept it to reuse in future outgoing packages.

Product:
Looks just like it does online. It doesn't come with any tubing so procure yourself some 3/4" tubing, clamps, and nozzles from your local hardware store to basically make it your own.

Design:
I bought this to sit in the back of my Jeep Gladiator JT and though the flared sides would align nicely with the bed. It didn't fit flush, but I was glad because it left a good amount of space for my hands to reach in and use the tie-downs that are installed in my truck bed. I like that it has a hole for a mount sort of like the ones they use for Rotopax. The two vertical lines you see are a decent depth for a ratchet strap.

Usage:
Filled it up with hose water to take on a weekend camping trip. Used it for drinking water for the dog and dishes. Had more than 3/4 tank left over. This would be great for showering if you do those things.
