Overview

Water in the outback is liquid gold,  so set up your vehicle with an IRONMAN 4X4 Water Tank.

The IRONMAN 4X4 20L Plastic Jerry Can Water Tank is built tough from food grade, BPA free, UV Stabilized Polyethylene ensures you can enjoy clean, taste free water. Keep one handy in the back of the vehicle and with the integrated tap have a drink of H20.

All IRONMAN 4X4 water tanks are pressure tested with water at the factory. A small amount of water inside the tank is normal. IRONMAN 4X4 recommends cleaning your water tank before use. Refer to instructions for cleaning procedures.

Works great, as intended with a carrier that has a cut out for it. 2 of us made the 5 gallons last 4 days on the Dusy Eshrim trail without issue. The shut off valve allows a small amount of water to continue to flow so you can rinse both hands together. We liked that feature. Would be 5 stars if it was more affordable. It’s pricy for what it is, but it works and it’s convenient.

Water tank has worked gre

Water tank has worked great the one time I used it so far. However when this item arrived it looked scratched and not well made I wasn't sure if that was the design or if I was given a used one. I ended contact customer service about this issue however I never got a response.

Don't hesitate - just get one.

I have a swingout tire carrier with a jerry can holder for longer trips but wanted a water jug I could use with the jerry can holder on shorter trips where I wouldn't need extra fuel. This ticks all the boxes and fits in my jerry can mount perfectly! Stout, no leaks and super convenient with the built in spigot. Now I can swing out my tire carrier and I have ready to use water mounted in the perfect location!

I use my old Jerry can as

Cap doesn't seal well, looks like a rough casting of the plastic mold with lots of pits. I sanded some rough edges down and now seals fine. Shouldn't have to do this but the fix worked.

The spigot on this tank is a 3/4 inch MPT fitting, and the tap uses an NPT thread where it connects to the tank.

These tanks do not offer any heating or insulation properties. Water inside them will begin to freeze when the temp dips below 32F
