"I absolutely love this unit, it worked great in the Cold, Windy, desert of Anza Borrego. Unfortunately you can only open the windows from the outside, I am 5'9"and when the awning and walls are out, you can't reach to roll them up, I almost fell into it. If it were raining I would have liked to stay inside and roll up the windows, but you can't, you gotta risk injury to do it outside at an angle on a stretch. But other than that great quality material, easy to setup and put away. Very happy with the purchase, confused with the window designer person."

"The walls make an enormous enclosed space. Great for unloading the truck into a sheltered area. Too big to heat with the diesel heater but real nice to keep the elements out. Time will tell on the Velcro joints instead of zippers. It goes up pretty quick. Very heavy duty. Now they need to make a panel with a stove jack already in it"

Looking at this kit does it enclose all sides or just the 2?
This does not enclose all sides, just 2 sides/walls. You can purchase another kit to enclose all sides (we recommend at least one of those kits being our door/window model here: https://ironman4x4america.com/2-piece-wall-kit-suited-for-deltawing-xt-71-xtr-71-door-and-window/), however, there will openings on either end where the walls meet the vehicle, so it won't be "fully" enclosed.
Hi, For the wall kit for the XTR-71, how high can the awning be mounted so that the walls are still long enough to reach the ground ? Thanks ! -Drew
When using the wall kit you will want to deploy your awning poles for stability. The poles extend to about 7.5-ft. so that will be your limiting factor with the wall kits.
How do these panels attach to the awning?
With heavy-duty velcro strips along the edges.
