"Great product, easy to use and install was great and engineered well to fit my fj60"

Foam cell shocks for the rear of 80 series Landcruiser

"I've had these shocks for over eight months so I feel that I can provide an honest review. While these shocks are a tad spendy, they're nothing like the cost of what I call "boutique" shocks. You know who they are; the remote resi, rebuildable, revalveable, etc. Listen, I just want a set of shocks that I can use, abuse and after ten years, if I still love them, I'll send them in for a factory refresh. I don't NEED heim eyes, or uniballs. I NEED rubber bushings and eyes that last forever and isolate the axle from the body. The first thing I noticed after putting these shocks on my bloated 80 series Landcruiser is that the bumps are muted. Things inside the cabin don't get jarred when I hit bumps or expansion joints on the highways. After pretending to be a Baja 1000 racer over dirt roads for few hours, the shocks are warm but not hot to the touch. My 80 checks in at a hefty 7,000# with a RTT on top so you could say that she has some "junk in her trunk". Nothing tires out a driver faster than trying to keep their rig steady on the highway for hours and hours. A good set of shocks help with that type of body undulation. Can she corner flatly with these shocks? Hell no. But, when you stick on a set of hefty sway bars like I did, then you could actually take mountain curves without getting motion sickness. Do you know what this means? This means that your significant other can drive your rig while you snooze on the passenger seat and take a break. No, I didn't get paid to do this review! Wait, is that an option? Is this like Amazon reviews where you get paid?"
