Because the bars and support towers are interchangeable front to back, use of the factory 2019+ RAV4 roof rack attachment points means that the front bar will 1. 5" lower than the rear. Not an issue for me, but it might be for those who, for example, contemplate a roof tent. The rack is also very noisy in stock form, with a whistle that becomes near a howl at speed on my 2021 RAV4. However, Rhino-Rack sells a "Vortex Generation Strip" kit which will fill in and cover the T-tracks on top of the Atlas bars and which is intended to reduce rack noise. About $26 on Amazon. Part no. VA-VGS8. The kit fits the Atlas bars quite well, and the Rhino-Rack strips included in the kit can be cut to accommodate t-track accessories, is you use them. The kit works well to reduce noise. And to further limit noise, do reinstall the skinny t-track covers which come with the Atlas bars, on the underside of said bars, after getting the bars fitted to your roof (a tip not mentioned in the otherwise well-done Ironman installation video)."
Mounts need improvement
"I loved the Atlas racks when I unpacked the box and saw how solidly built they were, the bars are awesome. Disappointment came when I mounted them however. They have designed the mounts to secure using M6 bolts supplied by iron man instead of the available M8 slots in the roof mount. The M6 bolts at the rear are too short, and too thin in my opinion. I only managed to thread the wingtip nuts down about three threads on each side and that's by pulling downwards on the end of the bar. At maximum thread I could manage the bars were still not solidly mounted and I could "wiggle" them. To me that's not a secure mount for my needs which was to mount an awning and a roof top tent. I returned the racks."

"I needed some stronger and more useful roof racks, as well as some more room. I contemplated the permanent roof racks that were 2-3x the price. Having to seal the roof was not something I wanted to do, I live in a very wet and humid environment, along with heavy winds and snow/ice in winter. These racks were the perfect alternative for me. The t-slots have been extremely useful. I currently have a roof storage box (Otter Outdoors), BougeRV 200W solar panel, and an IronMan awning on these racks. Easily adjustable by loosening the t-slot bolt studs (purchased from Amazon) that mount each roof item. Install was a breeze and to be honest, a fun time! I say fun because everything went as said in the directions and IronMan install vids. They also look very nice and aggressive, and are built extremely well. After a few weeks in weather ranging from snow/ice to pouring rain for days on end to 80° sun, they’ve been champs. Heavy winds have been no issues. Slight wind noise is to be expected at some vehicle speeds, along with heavier winds and side winds."
