"Works as intended, install isn't that difficult, everything you need is included minus tools of course. If you don't understand the instructions that are on the template, just YouTube it or go on Ironman 4x4 website for install instructions. I had to modify the rubber hose that connects the snorkel to intake box since I'm running an after market volant intake. No issues so far and have tested it in crossings. As far as I can tell, it sucks in more air, it protects your engine from being flooded, sounds great, and looks cool. Not sure if it produces any more power or better mpg as the vehicle is not tuned, however best part about all this is I have no engine codes lighting up my dash!"

"Overall great value and best snorkel kit still available for the FJs. Install was very easy and probably the longest part was the measuring, after measuring, after measuring. The template that is provided is a good fit but still make sure the snorkel aligns before making cuts. Also left the snorkel in the hot sun which helps when bolted on the FJ. Under the hood hook up was super easy and matched up prefect to the stock air intake. The snorkel looks awesome on my truck and couldnt be happier with the new addition."

"Got a great deal with the 4th if July sale and the snorkel looks awesome on my truck. The template took a bit of work to get it to line up, but I'm happy with how it came out. I recommend purchasing a high quality hole saw for the install. The standard Milwaukee hole saw bit proved to do a pretty lousy job of drilling the hole."

"Good deal and quality product for the right price. The only down fall it the template for drilling your holes in your fender (very important), it was very off. Someone could totally mess up their fender and install if they only use the template. WHY would you not insure the template isn't correct????? Really important. Also the snorkel cap is half pugged because some one chose to design the Ironman logo on the air inlet screen, Looks cool but plugs the inlet of more than 50% airflow. This was a easy catch but someone let the good idea monster go wild."

- So, my 2014 won't allow for the fitment of this particular snorkel kit? Is the air box placement that vastly different between 07-09 and the final model year? I don't mind a little complication, but don't want to have to get crazy if this simply won't work as intended with my FJ.
