Inspection of a ball joint and positive identification of wear is best undertaken by a qualified mechanic or approved and experienced fitter. Suspension and 4WD vehicles can create lots of noises and steering characteristics which can be caused by a number or influencing factors.

We ask that you do not assume excessive wear, but rather book an inspection to confirm.

You are only affected by this recall if you have the optional inclusion of Pro Forge Upper Control Arms. This recall does not affect all Ironman 4×4 suspension kits.

No. It is highly probable that your vehicle is safe to drive in the immediate future, however, under the recall we are committed to rectifying all affected Pro Forge Upper Control arms with the appropriately specified ball joints.
Please ensure your vehicle is returned no less than 10,000kms after the initial inspection. All ball joints should be replaced in time.
All Ironman 4×4 Upper Control Arms sold between January 2019 and June 2023 are included in the recall.
