Ironman 4x4`s Suspension Product Manager, Kristian Ristell stated that, “This new suspension package is very exciting because it caters for all driving styles from every day on-road work to visiting stunning off-road destinations. Getting the ride quality up to scratch was the primary design goal for Ironman and we are rapt with the results we’ve achieved. It makes the Prado ride and handle beautifully.”
Kristian went on to explain that this new Prado kit starts with a set of four 45mm lift coils and height adjustable struts to handle any accessories up front. There are two rear coil spring choices, a Performance coil and a Constant Load coil for handling additional weights.
To match the coils and strut system, Ironman offer two models of rear Nitro Gas shock absorbers, the first being a 12682GR to handle touring and on-road duties while the 12682GRC is the Comfort shock absorber and turns the Prado into a very streetable fourby for on-road work as well as off-road play. For heavy duty work and off-road touring where higher shock absorber temperatures prevail, Ironman offer a Foam Cell shock absorber perfectly matched to the coils chosen.
